Welcome. Today starts a journey for sharing with you the techniques that I have used to generate traffic to my website. I will share one or two strategies each week for you to implement. Everything that I am going to share with you at the start will be strategies that you can use without spending any money. The majority of the strategies that I use are free, but I do use some in which I spend minimal amounts of money.

Now, alot of what I use is information that you can find online and for some of you, the beginning stuff will be very basic, so bear with me. I only want to offer useful information that you can use to generate traffic. If you know the stuff that I will be sharing, I would hope that you would freely share this information with others, ESPECIALLY your business partners/downline. It only helps grow your business that much more.

So, the first strategy is the easiest and most basic of all. Yet it is very effective if you do it right. E-mail signature. If you don't have one on your e-mails, you are missing out on alot of free advertising and possible viral advertising (which is one of the best). How many e-mails do you send out in a week? A month? Think about it. I am not only talking about business e-mails, but personal e-mails also. Do you believe the old saying about curiosity? People are curious by nature, so with a link to your website in your signature, they WILL click to check it out.

Now there are two roads here. 1.) You can just have a link at the bottom of your e-mail, or 2.) you can have a catchy short ad that "instructs" them to click on your link. I prefer number 2. You will get many more clicks with an ad at the bottom of your signature than you will with just a link. Here is an example of how I would set up my signature:

Mine is short, sweet and to the point. I know who my target market is, it is people looking to make extra money or who are looking for their own business. So my link sends them to a page where they will be qualified. If they are interested, they will enter contact information and be sent to another site that will give them more info on what they are looking for. The ad is pretty crucial here, because this is what gets them to click on your link.

When creating your short ad, try to apply the following things:
1. Grab their ATTENTION - usually a question or offering a review does the job
2. Peak their INTEREST - give them a bit of info only
3. Make them DESIRE what you offer - use keywords and feeling words
4. End with a COMMAND statement - go here now, click here now, etc.

Think from your heart when writing your ads and you will get it right everytime.

Okay, let's go through the basics of how to get your signature set up.
Sign into your e-mail provider (AOL, Yahoo, MSN, Outlook Express, etc.)
On the upper right hand of your e-mails list, you will see either "options" or "settings".
click on that. (with yahoo, "mail options" will need to be clicked on next)
Next you will see "compose" for aol users, click on that.
To the left you will see "signature", click on that
That will bring up a blank box where you can type in your signature, ad and link!
Once you are done, make sure that you click on "save".

That's all there is to it. You can send e-mails now and your signature and ad will automatically be attached to every single one without you having to type it every time!

Now, here is a little tip:
You know how you get those chain letter e-mails? Join in forwarding them. The next group
will forward them and so on and so on. Get the idea? Can you imagine how many people are
going to see your ad? It could get enourmous!
So why not START a chain letter e-mail? Put something together that is going to be
interesting, funny, serious, faithfilled, etc. It has to be something others will feel compelled
to forward, once again, a command statement can make all the difference in the world. Send
this to everyone you know, especially those that you know forward these! Instant viral
advertising and LOTS of free traffic!

I want to thank you for stopping by. I am in the Synergy Freedom Builder Presidential Club, and my objective is to give you useful and helpful tips and information about network marketing on the internet.

I have been involved in network marketing for about 2 years. I have to tell you that I basically sat on the sideline/bench for the first 1 1/2 years. I thought that I didn't have the tools to start building my business, so I was sitting watching the parade go by. WELL, enter the Synergy Success System website! WOW, talk about being able to get jump started. I knew that with the system that this website offered and the tools in it, that I could start setting myself up for success.

One problem though. I didn't know how to market my website and business on the internet. So what did I do next? Well, I decided that I was going to learn how to SUCCESSFULLY market my website, so I started the endeavor to learn as many techniques, apply them, try them and use ONLY the techniques that work. I spent about 8 months studying, learning, applying, testing, and you name it to see what worked. I made alot of mistakes, tried alot of stuff and I have found a complete system that generates traffic to my website.

In my next post I will reveal to you the basic traffic generating techniques one by one so that you can get set up and start generating traffic to your website.
